We do not want this to be thought of as "small print" or "red tape". These are simply sensible terms which clarify certain issues.

Bookings for Bob's concerts are subject to the terms and conditions below. Reference to the organiser means the person who is organising the event and who booked Bob for the show.

• The arrangement is for a musical show/concert at a specific venue, on a date and time and for a fixed period of time which will be agreed between Bob and the organiser in advance.
• It is a one man show, consisting of songs and (in some shows) piano pieces, interspersed with Bob's chats to the audience.
• The show is a concert. The audience should be in a seating arrangement (preferably theatre style rows) which enables them to sit and enjoy the show.
• The engagement can be cancelled by the organiser at any time up to 24 hours prior to the date and time of the show without cost.
• Bob expects the organiser to ensure that Bob's performance can start at the scheduled time. Bob may not be able to accommodate a later start. Either the show may have to be curtailed or, in extreme circumstances, cancelled. In these circumstances the agreed fee would still be payable. Organisers should therefore take account of any events which are scheduled to take place immediately prior to Bob's performance and which might impact on the start time, when agreeing the starting time for the show.
• There will normally only be an interval of about 20 minutes for a full Bob Eagle Music Show. If there is an interval it should be used to enable the audience to get some refreshments and as a comfort break. There should not be any additional specific entertainment or other activity during the interval without the prior agreement of Bob. Shorter sets go through without a break.
• Bob will bring PA equipment for smaller venues (suitable for a hall seating up to 200) if no PA is available. For larger venues it may be necessary for the organiser to obtain/hire PA equipment or obtain the use of any installed PA equipment at the venue.
• The equipment supplied by Bob is for his exclusive use and may not be used by any other person. This is for reasons of general and public liability insurance.
• Bob will agree with the organiser in advance whether the venue has its own own car-park; whether Bob can park as close as possible to a suitable door for ease of unloading the equipment (if necessary a parking space may need to be reserved); and whether there is wheelchair access so that Bob can push the equipment on a trolley from the car park to the performance area.
• The fee agreed for the concert is to be paid at the conclusion of the concert by cheque of cash - we are not able to accept credit cards etc
• Bob reserves the right to cancel the booking. No fee is payable if the concert is cancelled by Bob. Neither does Bob accept any liability for any losses incurred through any such cancellation. Cancellations are likely to be rare but may be necessary, for example, if Bob is in ill-health. Bob will always try to give early notice of any cancellation, but in some circumstances, such as ill-health, this could be less than 24 hours.
• It is the responsibility of the organisers (not Bob) to arrange any payments which may be needed to the Performing Rights Society (PRS)

• The organiser is responsible for checking that there is a 13 amp power supply within 5 metres of where Bob is to perform
• The organiser is responsible for all aspects of hiring or other use of the venue, and the safety and security of the venue, the audience, and any equipment within it.
