Lesson 7
Activity 1
Here is the tune 'Hey ho, nobody's home' that you sang in the last lesson
Learn to play this tune at a keyboard or at a tuned percussion instrument.
In a group, try playing the song as a round, with the 2nd part starting
on the 3rd bar.
If you can manage that easily, play it as a 3, 4, 5 or even 6 part
round.
The chords are written above the tune. If you can already play
chords on a guitar or keyboard, you can play along. We will be looking
at chords in a later series of lessons.
You can also use the chords to play a bass part (low sounding part).
Listen to the bass part, then try playing it. You will hear the bass
part for 6 bars, then the tune with the bass part for 6 bars.
